The Barataria Private Canal debris cleaning project has begun.
You may have recently seen survey boats in the canals which were conducting pre-work surveys.
We will be doing one canal at a time with order or work to be announced.
Out of an abundance of caution and to prevent damage to any boats… Prior to the debris removal and dredging, we are asking that you REMOVE your boats from the waterway, especially any boats docked alongside the bulkhead.
According to our contract we MAY NOT get within 15 feet of the private property bulkhead/structures.
However, our company, LP Landry Group will return after the contract work is completed and approved to perform such as: additional dredging in boat slip areas and along bulkhead, pile driving, bulkhead installation or any other requested work which the property owner would be responsible for payment.

Our company, LP Landry Group is a licensed general contractor based in Galliano, Louisiana. We are doing the Barataria Private Canal Dredging project.
Our contract prevents us from doing any work within close proximity of existing bulkhead and structures.
However, if you require work to be performed while our equipment is in the area we can provide you with a FREE ESTIMATE.
This would not require mobilization fees (saving you money.

Hold Harmless Terms & Conditions
HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
LP LANDRY Group
WHEREAS, the PROPERTY OWNER desires to have a portion of their privately owned canal bottom dredged alongside their bulkhead and/or their boat slip area; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACTOR requires that the PROPERTY OWNER execute a hold harmless agreement relieving the CONTRACTOR from any and all liability or any damages whatsoever from any work performed by the CONTRACTOR on the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the CONTRACTOR and PROPERTY OWNER as follows:
1. The PROPERTY OWNER acknowledges and agrees that they are fully aware that any portion of their bulkhead, buildings or structures of any sort of any type whatsoever may be at risk of immediate and possible future damage; and
2. The PROPERTY OWNER understands and agrees that the CONTRACTOR assumes no responsibility for, or liability arising out of any work they perform on the PROPERTY OWNERS property, including but not limited to dredging, debris removal or construction of any type; and
4. The PROPERTY OWNER understands and agrees the CONTRACTOR will not, under any circumstance, maintain, repair, or replace any portion of said bulkhead, adjoining structures of any sort whatsoever, which might be subsequently damaged or removed by any work, accident and maintenance activity or construction operation performed by the CONTRACTOR; and
5. The PROPERTY OWNER hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the CONTRACTOR from any and all liability, loss or damages the PROPERTY OWNERS property (or persons) may suffer as the result of any work performed whatsoever by the CONTRACTOR on the PROPERTY OWNERS property; and
6. The PROPERTY OWNER further agrees that it will waive any and all claims against the CONTRACTOR, its agents, officials, or employees that arise out of any damage to, or undermining of, the bulkhead while located on the PROPERTY OWNERS property; and
7. This hold harmless agreement shall commence on the date of the execution hereof by PROPERTY OWNER and shall continue until the specific work is completed on the PROPERTY OWNERS property and shall include any possible unforeseen future damages to the PROPERTY OWNERS property; and
8. This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the heirs, grantees, successors and assigns of the parties hereto and shall constitute a binding hold harmless agreement that shall last in perpetuity related to any work performed whatsoever by the CONTRACTOR on the PROPERTY OWNERS property.
